01Step 1

Reflectance ingest

Scenes are read at surface reflectance and reprojected onto a common grid, never resampled.

02Step 2

Fraction unmixing per pixel

Each pixel is decomposed into green vegetation, non-photosynthetic vegetation and soil. Slash and fresh soil are what a selective harvest leaves behind, and both sit in the second and third fractions.

03Step 3

Linear feature extraction

Directional filters connect skid tracks and landings that would be unremarkable pixel by pixel.

04Step 4

Overlay against the concession boundary

Disturbance polygons are intersected with the boundary you supply, and the area inside and outside is reported separately. No timber volume is estimated, because reflectance does not carry it.
