Plot evidence
For each plot boundary on your register, the record reads every look the open archive holds over the seasons before 31 December 2020. It returns a finding, or a withheld result with its reason and the next step. Every figure names the scene or product it came from.
For the people who file under Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 at operators and traders, and for platforms that file on their behalf.

01 · The order
What you send, and what comes back
You send
- Plot boundaries as GeoJSON, a zipped shapefile, or a CSV of points
- A reference, commodity, producer, country and planting year for each plot, where you have them
- Plots of any size. The register checks each geometry before anything is read
You receive
- A plain-word state on every plot: established before the cutoff, withheld with its reason, or supporting evidence only
- An evidence document per plot as a PDF: one true-colour look per season, the pre-cutoff season table, every look the archive held and why any was set aside, the sources, and the Article 9 mapping
- A book summary with every plot on one page, its finding and its next step, also as CSV
- The same record as JSON through the API, with signed webhooks when a batch lands
- Watches after the cutoff, with each flagged change worked through as a case
02 · How it is read
From the open archive to the record
Public sources
- 01
A finding says one thing: the ground inside the boundary held an established, managed stand before 31 December 2020. It is issued only when independent instruments agree.
- 02
Where they do not agree, the finding is withheld and the document says why. A withheld plot goes to the archive review, where a named reader looks at a sub-metre scene from before the cutoff.
- 03
Findings are issued for estates and sun-grown crops from four hectares in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Indonesia, Malaysia, and East Africa for coffee. Smaller plots, and plots elsewhere, receive the same document as supporting evidence.
- 04
The obligation stays with the operator. The document is one input, read beside the land title, the purchase records and your own field evidence.
